Our client, a growing company, believes in supporting each other. You will work on a full-time, permanent basis in a fast-paced office with free on-site parking and a café.
Main Responsibilities:- Track financial transactions for multiple clients, ensuring accurate postings and explainable entries.
- Reconcile bank and credit card transactions.
- Make supplier and payroll payments using Telleroo.
- Assist in preparing VAT returns.
- Perform other bookkeeping duties.
- Develop working relationships with clients.
- Utilize excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Complete general administration tasks.
- Develop an understanding of the Company's methods and standards of work required.
- Become familiar with the Company's administrative and office procedures.
- Become familiar with software used by the Company, including Xero and Dext.
- Take on additional projects/responsibilities as directed.
- Fulfill measures of effectiveness and meet competencies set for the role.
- AAT qualified or willing to undertake the AAT qualification.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic bookkeeping and/or accounting experience.
- Keen to learn.
- Proficient IT skills and a passion for technology.
- Team player.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to recognize inconsistencies.
- Experience working to strict deadlines.
