Zachary Daniels is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join their team in a dynamic and results-driven environment. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety and environmental control measures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.
- Manage risk assessment and COSHH programmes to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety and environmental procedures, and respond to incidents as required.
- Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead incident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Chair the local safety committee to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in the development and improvement of the company's HSE system.
- Maintain legislative compliance for the site and contribute to the achievement of corporate HSE objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HSE Manager in a fast-paced and pressurized manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
- Ability to ensure 'buy-in' from staff and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- High level of awareness of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
