Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the team in establishing underwriting methodologies, pricing structures, risk acceptance criteria, and risk management practices for casualty segments.
  • Ensure coherence between commercial lines strategy and client requirements.
  • Assess technical and legal elements to minimize risks and identify potential opportunities.
  • Offer guidance on emerging risks and opportunities within the underwriting landscape.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Significant experience in senior underwriting positions.
  • Proven knowledge in financial lines or general liability segments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in portfolio management within liability underwriting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Capability to analyze data trends for informed strategic decisions.
