Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare and serve meals, and monitor food and fluid intake
  • Administer or prompt medications, as directed by the client's healthcare provider
  • Provide safe moving and positioning procedures, using hoists and other equipment as needed
  • Accompany clients to appointments and engage in social and recreational activities
  • Monitor and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes to senior staff

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move clients as needed
