Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor Opportunity

Signatus Recruitment is working with a forward-thinking law firm in Belfast to recruit a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to join the firm's well-established Commercial Litigation department and take on a significant amount of responsibility from the outset.

Your New Role

The Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor will have conduct of and develop a large caseload of private fee-paying and commercial litigation clients. In a largely autonomous position, you will be exposed to a breadth of litigation matters for small business clients, including:

  1. Debt recovery and insolvency
  2. Contractual disputes and media & entertainment law
  3. Banking and property/construction disputes
  4. Miscellaneous business-related litigation

Your caseload will consist of a blend of County Court and High Court matters, requiring strong knowledge of procedural rules and practice directions.

About You

You will be a qualified solicitor with ideally between 5-8 years PQE and solid experience handling a range of commercial litigation matters. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high standard of service and have a high degree of personal integrity, commitment to fairness, diversity, and equality. A willingness to participate in business development events and continually raise the firm's profile to generate new business opportunities is also essential.
