We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Security Architect to join our Consulting team at Cognizant Technology Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security architecture of our clients' IT systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Security Architecture Design: Develop and implement secure architecture designs for our clients' IT systems and networks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Security Policy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures that meet the needs of our clients.
  3. Security Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks associated with our clients' IT systems and networks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
  4. Security Governance: Provide guidance and support to our clients on security governance, risk management, and compliance, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior security professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of security projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  1. Architecture Design Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing secure architecture designs for IT systems and networks, using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  2. Security Policy Development: Experience in developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures that meet the needs of clients.
  3. Security Risk Management: Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks associated with IT systems and networks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
  4. Security Governance: Experience in providing guidance and support to clients on security governance, risk management, and compliance, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead and mentor junior security professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of security projects and initiatives.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  1. Cloud Security Experience: Experience in designing and implementing secure cloud-based solutions, using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  2. Security Frameworks and Standards: Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, OWASP, and ISO 27001.
  3. Security Certifications: Hold relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or SABSA.
Security Clearance
