Overview

Work Hours: This is a flexible 0-hour role, with hourly pay on a fixed-term basis. While we strive to provide a consistent working schedule, flexibility is essential as adjustments may be necessary to meet business needs. Weekend and Bank Holiday shifts are included, but there are no evening or split shifts.
Compensation: £11.50 per hour.
Contract Duration: Fixed Term Contract.

Work Environment

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be stationed at Blickling Estate, a picturesque 4,600-acre site in the Norfolk countryside. The estate features stunning woodlands, parklands, gardens, and various historic buildings, along with a gift shop and cafes offering a range of beverages, light meals, snacks, and desserts, with both indoor and outdoor seating options.

Your Responsibilities

As a Culinary Service Associate, your primary focus will be on front-of-house operations, directly engaging with guests. You will warmly welcome and assist all visitors to the café. With a passion for customer service, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence, you will ensure that every guest enjoys their visit. This is a dynamic environment that requires teamwork and adaptability.
You will be attentive to guest needs, ready to assist and make recommendations. Maintaining high standards in food and beverage preparation and presentation is crucial. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that all displays and signage are accurate and visually appealing. Occasionally, you may assist the kitchen team with food preparation.
We will provide you with comprehensive training tailored to the role, including allergen awareness and food safety, along with any necessary mentoring to support your success. Opportunities for further professional development are available if desired.
