In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety on our sites.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement robust health and safety strategies.
- Lead comprehensive health and safety meetings, providing clear guidance on safety protocols and best practices.
- Continuously review and enhance existing safe work procedures to minimize risks and promote a secure working environment.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Investigate incidents promptly and effectively, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate and deliver engaging training programs for staff on various health and safety topics.
- Actively contribute to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across all construction projects.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in site-based health and safety roles within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations specific to the construction sector.
- Proficiency in using IT systems and preparing comprehensive reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- CSCS Professional card.
- First aid certification.
