Purchasing and Inventory Manager Job Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment are seeking a skilled Purchasing and Inventory Manager to join our client's team in Hull, working within the cable assembly manufacturing industry.

  • Conduct purchasing and inventory tasks across the business, ensuring efficient and effective management of stock levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and delivery terms to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with the office team to take on various tasks as required, contributing to the smooth operation of the business.
  • Maintain accurate records on internal software systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Purchasing and Inventory Manager Job Requirements
  • Experience working in a purchasing or inventory position, preferably within engineering and manufacturing.
  • Full UK driving licence is required for occasional travel to suppliers and clients.
Purchasing and Inventory Manager Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • Working hours: Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
  • Holiday package and company pension scheme available.
