About The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk to join our dynamic Accounts department at our Nottingham Head Office.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening new credit accounts and posting sales invoices to the ledger
  • Raising and posting credit notes and manual invoices
  • Processing payments received and active payment collection via telephone and email
  • Maintaining the batch book and raising and posting Journals to accounts
  • Sorting the daily post and managing the sales ledger email boxes

Requirements:

  • Previous Sales Ledger/Credit Control experience
  • Effective working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
