Job Title: Specialist Primary Teacher

A specialist primary provision in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in KS2 who require additional support due to social, emotional, and mental health reasons.

The school is a small, specialist provision that requires a Teacher who can adapt to different year groups and lead a team of support staff in the classroom. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and be able to adapt it to meet the needs of the children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching children in KS2 who require additional support
  • Leading a team of support staff in the classroom
  • Adapting the primary curriculum to meet the needs of the children
  • Working with challenging behaviour

Requirements:

  • Primary PGCE qualification
  • Experience working with children in KS2
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Experience with challenging behaviour
  • Full-time availability
