About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that customers receive excellent service, and that our team members are supported and empowered to deliver their best work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the store team to deliver an easy and fuss-free shopping experience for customers
  • Support colleagues in their daily tasks, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to succeed
  • Open and close the store, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed and that the store is secure
  • Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, ensuring that all areas are well-presented and free from hazards
  • Support managers in coordinating seasonal, community, and charity events
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team atmosphere, fostering a culture of respect and open communication
  • Provide excellent customer service, listening to customers and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date on store performance and look for opportunities to improve and simplify operations

  • Be a clear communicator, able to effectively convey information and instructions to colleagues
  • Be comfortable taking the lead, overseeing the store in the absence of a manager
