About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Intern to join our team at Sungrow - EMEA. As a Compliance Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and management of our internal compliance systems and conducting in-depth compliance and policy research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of our internal compliance registration system to centralize all compliance requests.
  • Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting our operations.
  • Summarize and communicate regulatory updates to our Compliance and Legal teams.
  • Support the update and maintenance of our policy library to ensure all documents are current and compliant with UK regulations.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as organizing and summarizing meetings, collecting feedback from various departments, and ensuring smooth communication within the team.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, or related fields.
  • Previous internship or work experience in a legal, compliance, or policy-related role.
  • Strong understanding of UK regulatory landscape and compliance requirements is favourable.
  • Strong research capabilities; Excellent writing and presentation skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant research and productivity tools.
  • Demonstrates effectiveness in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment; Technologically adept with a strong interest in compliance and regulatory issues.
  • Fluency in English is required (at least C1); Additional languages are a plus.
