About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Child Psychotherapist to join our Harbour Therapies team in Dorset. The successful candidate will work with children in care, providing specialist assessments and interventions to promote stability and connection within the family system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma and neurodevelopmental informed assessments and interventions for young people in care
  • Work directly with children and their carers to promote stability and connection within the family system
  • Consult with social workers and other key professionals to facilitate psychologically informed care planning
  • Develop and deliver training to staff and carers on trauma, neurodevelopmental, and attachment informed approaches
