Position Overview

A well-capitalized AI enterprise, with operations spanning Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, is seeking both a Senior and a Principal Platform Engineer.

Following a significant Series A funding achievement, the company is poised for rapid expansion, aiming to establish several new product development teams (approximately 30 new positions across Data & Engineering).

Compensation Range (the more you seek, the more you must demonstrate your expertise):

  • Principal: £100-150k
  • Senior: £75-120k

Work Location: Hybrid model with office presence required 3-4 days a week.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in crafting high-quality, production-ready code, preferably in Go, Java, or Python.
  • Extensive experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and the integration of data-centric workflows.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Loki, Grafana) in data-intensive settings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the scalable deployment of data processing and machine learning models (both batch and real-time).
  • Background in developing and maintaining machine learning systems using tools such as MLflow, BentoML, and Evidently AI.
  • Exposure to frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
  • Proficiency in automating data processing tasks.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, product-oriented startup environment.
