About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workday professional to join our National Store Operations Committee as a Store Operations Workday Assistant. This exciting opportunity will provide you with the chance to support the heart of our business by assisting the Workday Team and advising Store Operation Directors, Area Managers, and Store Operations Assistants on processes completed on Workday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and professional support to Store Operations, ensuring the successful and timely completion of tasks, projects, audits, presentations, memos, minutes, and reports delegated by your Direct Leader.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal business stakeholders, responding to requests in a polite and professional manner.
  • Ensure the appropriate communication channel is used to get information to the correct audience in time for it to be actioned.
  • Assist the Workday team in creating user guides through identifying knowledge gaps and areas with persistent incompliance.
  • Assign and maintain accurate security groups for Store Operations.
  • Support the Workday team with testing of the digital adoption platform.
Requirements
  • High level of experience using Workday.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced project environment with a proven track record.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels in multiple locations.
  • Ability to work upon your own initiative effectively and efficiently.
  • Adaptable and flexible - change management skills are crucial to project success.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland.
  • Strong understanding of working within Workday.
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and service line agreements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate as a team with members based in separate regions.
  • Understanding the importance of GDPR policies.
  • Ability to analyse data to provide key information to support project goals.
  • Expertise in Workday beyond daily tasks to include advanced processes such as reporting, security management and the ability to spot issues within Workday while completing tasks.

  • Salary starting £33,390 rising to £41,260.
  • 23 month fixed term contract.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working.
