Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Malton. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the production facilities. Your primary duties will include diagnosing and repairing machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and contributing to the overall reliability and safety of the production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting routine maintenance on production machinery to prevent breakdowns.
  2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
  3. Collaborating with the production team to minimise downtime and optimise machinery performance.
  4. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  5. Participating in training and development programs to stay updated on industry best practices.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing.
  2. A relevant engineering apprenticeship.
  3. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
