Position Overview

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our electrical systems across various renewable energy assets. This position requires travel across multiple sites within the UK, with opportunities to work remotely or from one of Statkraft's office locations when travel is not necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance on electrical systems associated with Wind, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Grid Services.
  • Participate in HV SAP training and development initiatives.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate faults to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Assist in project delivery by providing technical support and expertise.
  • Oversee the execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise engineering activities on-site to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Evaluate technical requirements for ongoing projects to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience within the energy sector, particularly in electrical network maintenance.
  • Proven experience working with LV and HV plant maintenance.
  • Previous SAP Authorization is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) processes.
  • High level of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) awareness.
  • Knowledgeable in:
    • Power generation technologies
    • High Voltage (HV) networks
    • Electrical Testing and Analysis
    • Commissioning processes
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications.
  • Fluency in English is required.
