About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified staff in carrying out individual and group treatment sessions to achieve agreed treatment objectives.
  • Provide therapy interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team to patients within an agreed scope of practice.
  • Hand over patient progress and any areas of concern following intervention to the relevant member of ward staff or care home staff.
Requirements
  • Good general standard of education at GCSE level (Grade 9- 4) including English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 2 qualification(s).
  • NVQ in a relevant subject or equivalent skills gained through work experience.
  • Previous work experience in a hospital or community rehab setting.
  • Experience working with older people.
  • Team working.
