Role Overview:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering both practical and emotional support to individuals, helping them to lead fulfilling lives. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires working various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
If you possess qualities such as positivity, friendliness, and creativity, this position is an excellent fit for you.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement individual support plans and engage in daily activities within a dynamic environment.
- Maintain effective communication with service users, their families, and other stakeholders while upholding confidentiality.
- Assist service users with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and participation in social activities.
- Document accurate notes and records as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Desired Personal Attributes:
- Possession of a Diploma in Health and Social Care NVQ Level 3 or willingness to pursue one.
- Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviors, learning disabilities, or mental health issues.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Confidence to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Genuine passion for working with vulnerable adults.
- Commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
