Job Description

The Services Project Specialist role is a key position within our Services Project Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the execution of small to medium-scale contracts for the rental of temporary water treatment solutions. This will involve coordinating with customers, internal teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure a comprehensive handover and completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of small to medium-scale contracts for the rental of temporary water treatment solutions.
  • Provide support to project managers for larger or more complex projects as required.
  • On-call support for emergency deployments and technical support, including troubleshooting out of hours.
  • Coordinate and communicate directly with key stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and third-party suppliers.
  • Partner with support functions, such as Logistics, Production, Maintenance, Sales, Engineering, and Field teams, to enable the execution of assigned projects.
  • Provide oversight and reporting on overall contract compliance, including delivery and commissioning schedules, uptime during operation, quality, and quantity of water produced.
  • Review operational data from job sites, advise or coordinate technical support, and lead issue escalation through to action follow-up and closure.
  • Process internal and external orders necessary for operations, maintenance, and repairs, including equipment trouble reports, purchase requests, and vendor invoices.
  • Ensure sufficient customer purchase orders are available, process invoices correctly and on time, and execute projects efficiently to minimize risks, delays, and additional costs.
  • Actively participate in promoting Environment, Health, and Safety standards in both the Peterborough facility and remote project sites, addressing EHS concerns and resolving near misses.
  • Facilitate return on experience activities, such as wrap-up meetings, lessons learned, and review of customer feedback, to establish improvement areas and potential best practices.
  • Advocate continuous improvement by working towards related goals through the completion of assigned improvement objectives.

Requirements

  • Graduate or comparable experience in a relevant STEM or industrial background.
  • Experience of or ability to learn about water treatment technologies, including Filtration, Reverse Osmosis, and Ion Exchange.
  • Experience working with or an aptitude to learn and use digital software packages, such as Microsoft Office, Google, SAP, or equivalent.
  • Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to take the lead when required.
