Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Wanted

Platform Recruitment is partnering with a company specializing in medical and diagnostic products to find an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development, including concept generation, prototyping, testing, analysis, and manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop product concepts
  • Create 3D CAD designs
  • Build and test prototypes
  • Lead projects and mentor junior engineers
Requirements:
  • Experience taking products from concept to mass manufacture
  • Strong 3D CAD skills in Solidworks
  • Background in medical, diagnostic, or scientific device development
  • Ability to produce manufacturing drawings and knowledge of various manufacturing techniques

The salary for this position is between £50,000-£65,000, depending on experience, and includes a generous benefits package, including a strong bonus, private medical, and flexible working.
