Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our Risk Advisory team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering internal audit and external quality assessments, and providing assurance on clients' control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and deliver internal audit and external quality assessments
  • Provide assurance on clients' control frameworks
  • Identify resource requirements to service assignments and track progress against budget and time-frames
  • Review work and resolve issues before Senior Manager, Director, and Partner review
  • Support departmental issues, including coaching and feedback to junior members of staff, ensuring compliance with the stream's policies and procedures, and the firm's risk management procedures

Requirements

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, MIIA, or CCAB, or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and systems and controls testing
  • Awareness of compliance, legislative, and market issues relevant to client businesses
  • Ability to prioritise and plan effectively, adopting a logical and methodical approach to meet tight deadlines and balance client needs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desirable

  • Previous experience in social housing or retail sectors
  • Experience with listed entities
  • Previous experience in a manager role within practice
