Finance Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Assistant to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. as a temporary employee. The successful candidate will be working closely with a Local Authority in Sutton to assist with the appointment of a Finance Assistant on a 3-month contract, which is highly likely to be extended at the client's discretion.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Be the first point of contact for internal and external customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Manage Finance Team mailboxes across all systems, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Process purchase and sales ledger invoices, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Administer new suppliers and amendments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process rent account and General Ledger transactions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 5 x GCSE at Grades 9-4 (A*-C) including Maths & English (or equivalent).
  • Customer-focused and solution-based approach to dealing with enquiries, providing clear and concise explanations.
  • Ability to explain complex matters in non-technical terms, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

  • The successful candidate should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • The candidate should have the right to work in the UK.
