About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Teacher to join our team at a Secondary School in Dudley. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature to students of various ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English Language and Literature to students of various ages and abilities
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans and schemes of work
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Contribute to the school's commitment to creativity and student achievement
Requirements
  • Degree in English or English Studies and History or English Studies and Religion and a PGCE or QTS Qualification
  • Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Knowledge across different frameworks of assessment (AQA, Ed Excel, BTEC)
  • Ability to teach to A Levels
  • Strong behaviour management techniques and ability to promote behaviour for learning
  • Highly organized and good communication skills
