Senior Trial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Trial Operations Manager to lead the operational planning and oversight of our Trials Unit's expanding research portfolio of multicentre clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Unit's Operations Group to review, improve and introduce trial processes and unit practices to maximise efficiency.
- Coordinate resources and timelines across trial teams, and monitor study progress.
- Contribute to the generation of new research grant applications.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support the growth and success of the Trials Unit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless trial execution and delivery.
- Extensive research experience in the design and conduct of clinical trials, with knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and individuals.
- Operational and change management, strategic and planning skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
DiverseJobsMatter is a rapidly growing UK Clinical Research Collaboration registered Clinical Trials Unit based in our School of Medicine. Our mission is to conduct top quality, high impact multicentre clinical trials across a range of health areas which will improve health outcomes.

The post is offered on a fixed-term contract for three years. Hours of work are full-time hours per week; however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.
This post can either be fully office-based or open to a hybrid working model with a blended approach of home and office working in line with the University's agile working framework and our operational requirements.
