Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. As a customer delivery driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver building materials to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Load and unload materials from vehicles, using manual handling equipment as necessary
  • Operate a vehicle-mounted crane to lift and move heavy materials
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and warehouse staff to achieve team goals

Requirements

  • A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the building materials industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
