Your Role

  • Collaborate directly with lawyers and clients to develop comprehensive matter plans, encompassing pricing, budgets, timelines, and clearly defined scopes and assumptions for client matters, transactions, cases, outsourcing projects.
  • Manage legal matters, projects, and portfolios to ensure timely, on-budget, and within-scope delivery. Effectively manage scope and cost creep while engaging with key stakeholders (including clients, partners, and colleagues) to deliver each project as required.
  • Assist partners and colleagues in crafting proposals and bids where legal project management is crucial for successful legal service delivery.
  • Implement a consistent Legal Project Management (LPM) approach across all matters.
  • Work alongside the Head of LPM and Senior LPM team to enhance the skills of individuals throughout the firm.
  • Champion TLT's LPM capabilities both internally and externally.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Possess a law degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold a Project Management qualification (APM is preferred).
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a project manager role.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience using leading project management tools, including MS Project.
  • Possess experience in managing legal projects utilizing established project management methodologies.
  • Understand legal matter reporting procedures.
  • Be proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exhibit a creative problem-solving approach with the ability to manage critical issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret client business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels within the organization, legal teams, and business services.
  • Extensive experience in a variety of legal projects, including litigation, corporate transactions, real estate transactions, contract management, remediation, software procurement and implementation, software development, business process review and reorganization, and transformation projects.
