Embedded Software Developer

A leading security technology company in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the development, modification, and enhancement of various security technologies.
You will collaborate with a team of experts, including electronics design engineers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, physicists, and other specialists. While prior experience in the specific sector is not necessary, you should have substantial experience in developing embedded systems using C/C++ programming languages.
This company provides bespoke products and services for clients, ensuring that your projects will always be unique and challenging. In addition to client projects, you will be involved in developing new versions of existing technology and improving current versions, offering a diverse and engaging role.
Experience in telecommunications, aerospace, scientific, radar, radio, or other complex technologies that involve communication between devices would be ideal, but it is not essential. Your experience as an Embedded Software Engineer is more crucial than the specific sector.
Certain roles may require security clearance, typically necessitating a British passport with no criminal record or a history of residing in the UK and paying taxes for several years (also with no criminal record).
