Warehouse General Assistant (Engineering Support)

Location:

Key Requirements:
Valid driving licence
Working hours: 39 hours per week, day shift, with early finishes on Fridays and opportunities for overtime.

Compensation:
We offer a competitive rate of £13 per hour, and we welcome your salary expectations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Refilling, draining, and replacing CNC machining fluids;
  • Removing metal filings and swarf from machinery;
  • Maintaining cleanliness on the workshop floor, including washing and cleaning spills;
  • Cleaning and packaging components;
  • Delivering products to clients using the company vehicle;
  • Performing basic maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor painting);
  • Assisting in other departments as required;
  • Lifting and transporting metal bars to support colleagues;
  • Carrying out any additional duties as assigned.

Reporting directly to the Manager, you will work within an engineering facility, collaborating with engineers operating precision machinery.

This position offers a diverse and engaging experience for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining a well-stocked, clean, and organized facility, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace for all team members.

Previous experience in a similar engineering setting is preferred, and a valid driving licence is essential for this role.


Working Hours:
