Product Assurance Engineer

Bluestream People is seeking a highly skilled Product Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our spaceflight manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of excellence throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project-specific Product Assurance Plans to ensure compliance across the entire supply chain.
  • Support quality assurance activities for parts, materials, and processes.
  • Review processes, drawings, procedures, test data, and inspection records to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Perform quality assurance tasks during Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Test (MAIT) activities both in-house and at vendor facilities.
  • Support in-house Quality Management System activities, including internal audits, lessons learned, continuous improvement, and analysis of process and quality metrics.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for all quality-related activities with customers and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong commercial experience in Product or Quality Assurance within a regulated spaceflight manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with the design, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and delivery of spaceflight hardware to meet contractual requirements.
  • Proficient in writing technical documents.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) in an industrial setting.
  • Skilled in using quality tools, methods, and procedures.
