CNC Operator Setter Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator Setter Programmer to join our team at PDR Solutions. As a CNC Operator Setter Programmer, you will be responsible for manufacturing precision machined components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing precision machined components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Setting and operating several multi-axis CNC machines with a range of controllers.
  • Carrying out initial quality checks on machined parts.
  • Maintaining program, tooling and inspection records for all components produced.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience in manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNC Milling/Turning.
  • Experience with multi-axis milling machines.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Ability to work to strict tolerances.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible nature and good communication skills.
  • Good understanding of health and safety in an engineering environment.
