About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Morning Care Assistant to join our team in Sawbridgeworth. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of elderly individuals, helping them to start their day with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as helping someone with their daily routines to get up in the morning.
  • Prepare nutritious breakfasts and ensure any dietary requirements are met.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Offer companionship and engage in conversations, activities, and outings that enrich the client's life.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments or on short outings if required.
  • Monitor and report changes in the client's health, wellbeing, and environment.

Working Hours:

Part-time mornings, including weekends on a rota basis. Specific hours to be discussed at interview.

About You:

  • No previous experience required – we welcome new entrants to the care profession.
  • A warm, empathetic nature and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to undergo DBS checks and provide references.

Requirements:

You must be 18+ with a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle. UK residency is necessary, and we cannot provide working visas.
