Job Description

Role Overview

As a Clinical Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the clinical needs of customers, providing comprehensive reports to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), and contributing to informed decision-making regarding support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer clinical needs through observation, questioning, and written reports
  • Collaborate with the DWP to inform decision-making regarding support
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clinical areas, including mental health and musculoskeletal issues, through industry-leading training
  • Participate in ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Support the maintenance of registration with the NMC and HCPC, including revalidation and reregistration

Requirements

  • One year's post-registration experience with the NMC/HCP as an RGN/RMN/RNLD or Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or overseas equivalent experience
  • Essential computer or IT skills, including typing or keyboard skills with an ability to type at 40 words per minute
