Job Summary
Copello Global is seeking an experienced Cost Estimation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our estimating organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of estimators and working with delivery support leads to generate base cost and provision estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of estimators to deliver high-quality estimates and basis of estimate documentation.
- Develop and implement standardized approaches to estimating, working closely with programme leadership teams to determine estimating maturity plans and make prioritization decisions.
- Engage with external customers through pricing and maturity assessment work, providing guidance and direction to team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in estimating, preferably in a leadership role within the defence industry.
- Previous experience in leading a team through complex projects, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and implement changes to drive business growth.
- Operations experience is essential, with a strong understanding of programme management principles.
- Educated to at least degree level, with equivalent experience a plus.
