About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Pertemps Exeter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of commercial equipment across various customer sites in the UK and at our client site in Honiton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment, including pneumatic/hydraulic systems, drive systems, and electrical control systems.
  • Providing technical advice and training to customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Working collaboratively with a small team of 8 engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Engineering qualification with experience in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of commercial equipment.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems and drive systems, including the ability to read full wiring diagrams and fault finding.
  • Essential understanding of process control, including electrical and electronic controls (PLCs).
  • Ability to work in environments where food and alcohol are present and flexibility to travel around the country (sometimes overseas).
