About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our dynamic team at Flexicruit. As a trusted logistics provider, we prioritize safe and timely delivery, offering industry-leading solutions for our customers' supply chain needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe Transportation: Safely transport goods across designated routes, ensuring the security and integrity of products in transit.
  • Logistics Coordination: Complete all necessary paperwork and follow assigned delivery schedules and routes accurately.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks and log any vehicle defects, reporting issues to management promptly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to drivers hours, tachograph regulations, and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Offer professional and courteous service to all customers, addressing queries where needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with managers and team members to report any delivery or route issues.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with company standards.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo when required.
  • Company Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for the company, always ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • HGV Class 1 License: HGV Class 1 License (essential).
  • Driver CPC Card: Driver CPC Card (essential).
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of drivers hours laws and tachograph regulations.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organisational and time- management skills.
  • Availability: Must be willing to tramp Monday to Friday.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Curtain Sider experience (preferred).
