Job Title: Casual Plant Operator

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Casual Plant Operator to join our team at Hargreaves Industrial Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of sludge handling and movements within our Yorkshire Water contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Loadall telehandlers to load lorries with treated waste
  • Stock out waste into windrows and maintain windrows or store in barns
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards of work areas and plant
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks on mobile plant
  • Wash down mobile plant
  • Log product movements
  • Maintain standards on stocking pads and keep drains and gulleys clear
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of site safety standards
  • NPORS license for Loadall telehandler
  • Knowledge and experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative
  • Good time keeping and willingness to work overtime as necessary
  • Good communication skills
  • A good fit with the Hargreaves industrial services culture
