Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to join our team at Engineering. As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for managing a team of over 30 employees and overseeing the production process.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve product quality, reduce waste, and enhance safety protocols
- Manage costs, quality, and output, working closely with other departments to create efficiencies
- Produce and maintain a production plan to ensure sales orders and key stock levels are met
- Ensure stock replenishment and kanban systems reflect production capabilities
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Production Engineering
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment at senior level, with a track record of effectively leading teams
- Experience in implementing systems such as LEAN, Kanban, Faxban, Six Sigma, and Kaizan
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide regular information to SMT through daily and weekly reporting
