Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct statutory evaluations and interventions for adolescents aged 16-18 who fall under specific local assessments.
- Manage a diverse caseload within the appropriate supervisory framework, tailored to the complexity of each case and the professional experience of the individual in this role.
- Oversee a Children & Families caseload that encompasses intricate and varied cases, including joint housing evaluations, child and family assessments, and periodic reviews, ensuring that the needs of the client demographic are met in accordance with established standards.
- Analyze complex information, identify potential risks, and formulate recommendations for which the professional holds accountability.
- Foster and cultivate strong collaborative relationships with statutory bodies, non-profit organizations, private sector entities, caregivers, and individuals with parental responsibilities to promote positive outcomes for children and their families.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation, local policies, and procedures, especially those pertaining to Young Homeless, Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection, ensuring adherence to these guidelines to deliver consistent and high-quality service.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as agreed upon with the line manager to ensure compliance with professional standards and requirements.
