Our client is a 26-year-old gentleman living with cerebral palsy. He exhibits a positive attitude and resilience despite facing complex physical and health challenges. He enjoys socializing with friends and has a passion for art.
We are seeking personal care assistants for both daytime and overnight shifts on a two-week rotation. You will be part of a dedicated team of caregivers who provide round-the-clock support. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the client’s home with personal hygiene, mobility assistance, administering therapy and treatment, managing medication, maintaining records, and addressing his daily care and social needs.
Qualifications
We welcome applications from all candidates, regardless of gender, and a full, clean UK driving license is essential for this position.
Applicants should possess a minimum of six months of recent experience in a care environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to being a valued member of the care team, providing exceptional dedication, flexibility, and support to our client. Willingness to accompany our client on social outings and vacations is also required.
Effective communication skills and proficient writing abilities are necessary.
The family has a cat, so candidates must be comfortable around pets and have no allergies. Additionally, it is preferred that candidates are non-smokers.
