Operations Manager

At Amazon UK Services Ltd., we're looking for a skilled Operations Manager to lead our teams and drive operational excellence. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a team of Area Managers, leading operational teams on a shift, and analyzing shift performance against business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of Area Managers to achieve operational excellence
  • Lead operational teams on a shift, addressing issues and positively impacting site performance
  • Analyze shift performance against relevant business objectives and implement actions to improve operational performance
  • Collaborate with support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
  • Design and deliver initiatives to improve operational performance across sites
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant field
  • Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
  • Relevant experience in key areas of production and supply chains
Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, as well as experience working with the MS Office suite, is highly valued.
