About the Role

E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Director to join our client's pan-European manufacturing group. As a senior-level appointment, you will assume operations and manufacturing responsibility for one of their key operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive manufacturing operations across multiple manufacturing lines, aiming to achieve World Class standards.
  • Lead the development and promotion of lean manufacturing techniques, such as 5S, VSM, TPM, and other continuous improvement tools.
  • Manage and motivate a team of managers to effectively problem-solve and develop their careers.
  • Introduce process and procedure enhancements across manufacturing lines to improve output and support EBITDA objectives.
  • Develop an agile, positive, and ambitious manufacturing function that enables growth, development, and improved business performance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a senior-level position, such as Operations Manager, Operations Director, Plant Manager, or Manufacturing Manager.
  • Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Experience in taking manufacturing operations to World Class or Operational Excellence standards.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, implementing continuous improvement tools and techniques, and problem-solving methods.
  • IOSH or Nebosh qualification in Health and Safety.
  • Ideal degree qualification or commensurate experience.
