Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and breakdown works to commercial gas appliances and HVAC systems across our MOJ Contract.

The ideal candidate will have up-to-date commercial and domestic gas elements, with dual skills in FGAS or electrical being an added bonus. You will be working Monday to Friday, with a 40-hour week, and will be required to carry out service, maintenance, and breakdown to commercial boilers, plant, and HVAC systems.

We offer a competitive salary of 40-43K, paid weekly, as well as annual bonuses, a company vehicle and fuel card, phone, tablet, PPE, uniform, tools, and a company pension scheme. You will also receive enhanced sick pay, travel time paid after 30 minutes, and lots of overtime at enhanced rates.

As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out service, maintenance, and breakdown to commercial boilers, plant, and HVAC systems
  • Working within a prison setting, requiring a clean DBS and Enhanced checks
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring high-quality work
  • Collaborating with our team to achieve our goals and objectives
