Job Description

Job Title: Functional Safety Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Safety Lead to join our team at Emotiv Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a leading role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement functional safety processes and procedures
  • Lead functional safety activities for all future business products
  • Develop and maintain project safety cases
  • Audit and control functional safety processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in functional safety, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Direct experience of leading functional safety activities for complex systems
  • Extensive hands-on experience of delivering functional safety artefacts
  • Experience of following ISO26262 to successful delivery of major projects
  • Previous experience of electronic hardware design and/or embedded software design
  • Desirable skills: experience of cyber-security, Model Driven System Engineering

Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth working knowledge of functional safety standards
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed
