About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team at Aramark UK. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Perform general kitchen duties, including food preparation, cleaning, and sanitation
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar catering role is desirable, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
