About Us:
Acorn by Synergie is a specialized consultancy dedicated to delivering high-quality services to commercial landlords and tenants across the UK. Our team comprises experienced surveyors and engineers who excel in various aspects of property consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive surveys and assessments of property conditions.
- Preparing feasibility studies and specifying necessary works.
- Managing projects and fulfilling Principal Designer duties.
- Providing lease advice and conducting condition surveys.
- Reviewing maintenance contracts and service charges.
- Conducting due diligence surveys and energy assessments.
Collaboration:
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintain direct communication with clients, offering guidance on technical, legal, and financial matters.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in surveying commercial properties.
- Health and Safety training or experience.
- Strong project management skills with a proactive approach.
- Excellent specification writing capabilities.
- A history of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Additional Responsibilities:
You will also be involved in:
- Conducting dilapidation surveys for office clients.
- Performing M&E condition assessments to support service charge disputes.
- Re-tendering M&E contracts and writing maintenance specifications.
- Evaluating the value for money of maintenance contracts.
- Conducting quarterly audits on maintenance contracts.
- Managing small-scale projects, including design and specification tasks.
- Providing cost advice on compliance with energy performance regulations.
