AndRecruit Engineering is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, improving productivity, cost, quality, and health & safety in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • Must have a strong background in Engineering, Science, or a related field, with a minimum of HND/HNC qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer within product development in a similar environment is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is a must.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on both existing and new R&D projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative manufacturing solutions.
  • Develop and implement best practices, routines, and solutions to improve production rates, quality, and output, working closely with the Lean team.
  • Design and develop jigs and fixtures as needed, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
  • Assemble and wire electro-mechanical assemblies, adhering to assembly drawings, BOMs, and wiring/schematic drawings.
  • Participate in NPI reviews to ensure only the most production-efficient designs are released into production.
  • Identify and present ideas for improving production processes to enhance profitability, quality, throughput, or H&S.
