A Senior Solutions Architect is sought to oversee the Architectural Roadmap for a Specialist Insurer as they undergo a significant transformation, enhancing their digital platform and services. Reporting directly to the Chief Architect, you will be responsible for various IT Architecture domains as the organization prepares for its Cloud Migration initiative.

This role exists within a dynamic environment, necessitating an agile approach to architecture. You will cultivate robust partnerships with Data & Analytics, IT, and Engineering teams, crafting functional architectural solutions for both legacy systems and cloud offerings. A solid background in designing Azure Cloud Landing zones, along with a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure and application architecture, is essential.

This position is perfect for a proactive Architect who excels in devising innovative solutions to business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the architectural design for infrastructure, applications, and data solutions that align with organizational objectives and technological strategies.
  • Create and maintain detailed architecture blueprints and roadmaps that steer the evolution of the technology landscape.
  • Foster strong relationships with Data & Analytics, IT, Security, and Engineering teams.
  • Play a pivotal role in establishing business Architecture Standards and Patterns.
  • Ensure adherence to Governance standards during the development of architectural frameworks.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in Commercial Insurance or Financial Services is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in developing IT architectures across Applications, Infrastructure, and Data that function through SaaS.
  • Demonstrable expertise in designing and developing Cloud Solution Architecture, preferably with Azure.
  • Capability to work in sprints and adopt an agile methodology in architecture design.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to drive change and advocate for technology solutions across the broader organization.
