Breast Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiologist with expertise in Breast Imaging to join our team at one of the largest University Teaching Hospitals in the NHS. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of over 50 Consultant radiologists providing sub-specialty and General Radiology services across the Trust.
The appointed Radiologist will be expected to collaborate with the existing Breast Imaging team to maintain and expand a comprehensive, high-quality screening and symptomatic breast service. The Breast Radiology team operates a group job planning system, ensuring even distribution of work and maintaining skills. The appointee will also be part of a wider team providing diagnostic services, including CT, MRI, plain film reporting, and ultrasound examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality Breast Imaging services, including screening and symptomatic breast services.
- Collaborate with the Breast Imaging team to maintain and expand the comprehensive breast service.
- Participate in a wider team providing diagnostic services, including CT, MRI, plain film reporting, and ultrasound examinations.
- Contribute to the development of innovative projects and service improvement initiatives.
- Engage in teaching and educational activities, providing excellent support and training to colleagues.
